Kimberly Barr Therapy
Healing through connection.
We aren’t meant to do life alone. Therapy offers a supportive space to deepen understanding, reduce shame, and reconnect to yourself and others.
“To be human is to need others, and this is no flaw or weakness.” - Sue Johnson
Hi, I’m Kimberly Barr!
Do you feel weighed down by patterns rooted in your past? Do you and your partner keep falling into the same painful cycles? These patterns usually make sense once we trace them back to where they began — and they can change. I work with adults and couples on childhood trauma, relationship conflict, grief, anxiety, and the deeper questions of meaning and life transition.
My training is in psychodynamic and attachment-based therapy, which means we won't just manage symptoms — we'll build the kind of insight and self-acceptance that makes change hold. I believe the relationship between us is the foundation of that work, and I bring authenticity, warmth, curiosity, and a little humor into the room.
If you're ready to take the next step, or just want to ask a few questions as you consider your options, please reach out — I'd love to hear from you.

Therapy is a relational process. Our work together will be focused on building trust and connection, exploring your story, and creating change from a place of self-acceptance.
-
Change does not have to be a new job, signing up for a gym membership, or a purging of your closet. The deepest change is that which happens in ourselves - a change of heart, a new perspective, an insightful reflection. These are the changes that can bring greater life fulfillment and relief from the negativity that weighs us down.
